Get enough water on your hands to make your beard mildly damp, not soaked.  This hydrates the hair, opens your pores & allows for even absorption of water to hydrate your beard.  The oil locks that in, helping avoid brittleness.

Get the desired amount of oil in your hands (2-3 drops per inch of beard, adjust to your preference as you see fit), and rub your hands together to distribute evenly.  Gently massage the oil all throughout your hair, and to your skin beneath your beard.

First run a comb through your beard, to continue even distribution of the oil.  Start with the broader end, then switch to the fine end, so as not to catch snags.
Use a brush & tame your mane until you look & feel awesome - because you are!
